We don't. Third-party-funded press trips are disclosed in the relevant coverage.
Source protection
We protect the identities of confidential sources. Given Mexico's security environment, source protection is treated with particular seriousness by our team.
Reporting on crime and violence
We follow established safety protocols for covering organised crime, cartels and politically sensitive investigations. We do not expose sources, informants or individuals to increased risk through our reporting.
Presumption of innocence
We are careful to distinguish between allegations, charges and convictions in criminal coverage.
