Local leaders helped organize the distribution
CTE Technology Advertising Co Ltd described the donation in an October 24 press release. Orozco and his colleagues distributed the supplies on the company's behalf, with help from community leaders and the local parish priest.
The company specifically thanked community leader Ángel Menchaca and the priest for their work organizing and carrying out the event. Afterward, the community sent CTE a letter of appreciation for the donation.
CTE said the shared effort also gave employees experience coordinating a team initiative, strengthened their mutual trust and helped them better appreciate teamwork and social responsibility.
A community on the Guanajuato-Michoacán border
Santa Ana Pacueco is part of the municipality of Pénjamo. According to Spanish-language Wikipedia, the 2020 census recorded 9,057 residents, making it the municipality's second-largest locality after the municipal seat of Pénjamo.
The Lerma River separates Santa Ana Pacueco from La Piedad in neighboring Michoacán. The two communities are treated as one conurbation and form the Pénjamo-La Piedad metropolitan area.
Wikipedia traces Santa Ana Pacueco's origins to a hacienda established in 1557 through a land grant from Viceroy Velasco to Juan de Guevara. It describes the community as an important municipal commercial hub and the city of Pénjamo's only delegación, or sub-municipal delegation.
CTE's business and charitable plans
The donation followed CTE's October 7, 2026, announcement that it was expanding its AI data services business in Mexico. That press release covered AI model training, data annotation, content evaluation and intelligent application testing, alongside efforts to strengthen local operations and talent training for Spanish-speaking markets.
On its official website, CTE describes itself as a global AI technology company founded in 2023 with $170 million in registered capital. Its stated areas of focus include artificial intelligence, large language models, machine learning, intelligent data analysis, content generation and automation.
In the donation announcement, CTE said its philosophy since its founding has been "helping others and giving back." The company said it encourages employees to join charitable efforts supporting impoverished families, people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
CTE said it would continue encouraging employee participation in charitable activities. It also invited others considering similar efforts in Santa Ana Pacueco to visit the community and consult local leaders about residents' needs and how to organize assistance.
